Directions by car from London and Heathrow.

Come down the M4 going west and take exit number 14 signposted to Hungerford.

Follow the road south to the A4 to Marlborough. Drive through Marlborough and on

to Devizes, on the A4 and then the A361..

As you approach the outskits of Devizes, go past the Total petrol station on your

right, cross the roundabout and then almost immediately turn right (there is a

Travel Lodge on the corner of the junction, so you can’t miss it) signposted

Roundway Village.

Come into Roundaway Village, which is tiny, and fork left at the post box. Follow the

winding road round and then down a very big dip, come up to the top of the dip and

then the road starts to go down again. Pine Tree is at the bottom of this second dip

on the left.

Directions by car from the West and Chippenham

Follow the signs out of Chippenham towards Devizes on the A342. The last village

before Devizes is Rowde. Go through Rowde and as as you come out of it there is a

turning to your left signposted Roundway Village. Follow this road up to towards the

hill. Past a far and duck pond. At the foot of the hill, Pine Tree is the house on your right

(just after Mill Cottage).

Getting to Pine Tree by train

Pine Tree is half way between Chippenham Station (trains from Paddington) and Pewsey

Station (trains from Paddington), about twenty minutes drive from both. There is a taxi

rank at Chippenham Station and the far is about £25. There is no taxi rank at Pewsey,

so you will need to book a taxi, the fare will be about £30.
